I just bought a BX2230 with a snowblower and rotary broom. This is turning out to be great for cleaning my very long driveway. I can first use the blower, then switch to the broom to get down to clean dry pavement without salting. But...does anyone have a trick for quickly aligning the square male-female pto shaft connection. It seems to take me awhile and alot of "magic words" to get the parts to align.
Thanks for any help.
P.S.--Please send all bad jokes to the new "useless ruminations" board !!

I'd talk with your dealer about getting another stub shaft to have with each attachment. I've worked with several customers to do that. It does make life a lot simpler. You could have it together before hand but if you are switching from one to the other a lot the two shafts would be best. ....

I agree with you Snowmover! The most difficult part of installing the snowblower is aligning the driveshaft to the "carrier bearing." I cannot get my hand in there to depress the locking coller while aligning the spline without several "choice" words and phrases. Had to change from blower to FEL and back this past weekend. As easy as the FEL is, the snowblower seems out of place being so difficult.

Anyone have a trick for this??? ....
